The Republican Party of José Antonio Kast celebrated with its symbols the triumph of Sunday after reaching 35% of the vote and 23 seats in the Constitutional Council. "Thank you very much to God, and long live Chile!" said Kast to end the most anticipated speech of the election day at the headquarters of the Republican Party.

Some 250 adherents of the far-right collectivity celebrated last night a historic electoral result, which not even the most optimistic foresaw only a couple of hours before. "We are far from wanting to boycott this process, as well as renouncing the principles that have characterized us," said Luis Silva.
