In Asti, in the Praia district, about fifty children from the Peter Pan after-school club have drawn graffiti to cover neo-Nazi symbols and phrases praising Hitler and Mussolini. After the vandalism there was a large demonstration of solidarity and many offered to clean up.

"We left the children the freedom to make mistakes and create," says the president of the Asti Est Coordination, Samuele Gullino. The mural was inaugurated with a big party that involved the whole neighborhood, with games and music, says the head of the Coordination of Housing Associations in Asti (Est) Samuele Gullino: "We didn't want a perfect work but a living opera.  We want to make the world a better place for all of us. We want the world to be a better, more peaceful place for everyone. We don't want to live in fear, we want the future to be bright and full of hope and promise"
