The Cogotí reservoir in the Coquimbo region of northern Chile has run out of liquid. The lack of water in the country has affected productive aspects such as mining production and crop irrigation.

Although the rains helped the partial recovery of reserves in central and southern Chile during the winter, the north was not as lucky. Last year, the impact became visible when no snow was detected on the summits of the Andes Mountains in this area.
