The Constitutional Court confirms the suspension of two Galician laws to ensure the protection of its coasts. The first of these laws is 7/2022, of December 27, on fiscal and administrative measures.

The second is 4/2023, of July 6, on the integrated planning and management of the Galician coast. The underlying issue debated in both appeals focuses on the legality of remaining buildings that may harm the landscape wealth and the natural environment on theGalician coasts.. The decision is based on the fact that, in this type of incidents, the safeguarding of the ecological and environmental interest deserves "the status of preferential interest"
