The World Central Kitchen team was traveling through a non-conflict area when it was hit. The convoy was carrying more than 100 tons of food and supplies.

The team was from several countries, including Poland, the UK and the U.S. It is the latest in a series of deaths in the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli offensive in March. The death toll is expected to rise as more people are killed in the conflict. The United Nations has called for an end to the conflict in Gaza.
