The Supreme Court of the United Nations rejected this evening (Friday) South Africa's request to impose urgent measures to protect Rafah in the Gaza Strip. The court said that according to it, the existing orders that apply to the entire strip, and Rafah within it, are sufficient and there is no need to impose new orders.

The World Court in The Hague stated that "Israel remains obligated to fully comply with its obligations under the 'Genocide Convention' and the aforementioned order, including by ensuring the safety and security of the Palestinians"
