Annual meeting of the Denklingen Volunteer Fire Department. The 64 active members had to go on 41 missions last year.
During the meeting, Martin Kößl was honored for 25 years. Almost 850 hours of operation were registered in 41 missions in 2023. The fire department was called to a fire six times. There are also three weirs in the community with its three towns of Epfach, Dienhausen and Denklingsen. The number of active people remained the same at 62 compared to the previous year. Two have left the active ranks, two have joined. In an emergency, 18 men will be at the scene wearing breathing apparatus. There were 15 technical assistance services, such as in the event of accidents. Youth director Roland Haseitl described that twelve boys and two girls are currently active in the youth group. Rehearsals should take place together with Schwabsoien, then with Osterzell and also with the Pflugdorf/Stadl weir.
