Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met with the ombudsman and the minister of justice in an attempt to resolve the controversy regarding the recruitment of the ultra-Orthodox. The government has until tomorrow to respond to the petitions to the High Court with the end of the month in the background - when the extension given to the recruitment issue will expire.

The meeting on the conscription law that was supposed to take place today was postponed, and a new date has not yet been set. If the government fails to formulate an outline for the recruitment, it is likely that a conditional order will be issued - that is, an order that reverses the burden of proof in the court and states that instead the state is the one who has to provide answers.
