An investigation by Seprona has uncovered the massive and irregular use of water in tropical avocado and mango crops. "It's worse than ever," warns Gregorio Campos, vice president of the public water and sanitation company in the Axarquía region (Axaragua), which manages a resource on which 200,000 people depend.
