The end of Europe's solar industry - Solarwatt is examining the end of production. The manufacturer could stop production in just a few months.
The reason is the “continuing flood” of cheap modules from China. China's share of solar module imports is 87 percent. Price collapse for solar systems within the last few months is 50 percent. New installation of solar systems in Germany (2023) is expected to be around 14 gigawatts.
