The EU announces that the maritime corridor to send aid to Gaza is now ready to operate. The United Nations denounces that Israel continues to block simpler and more efficient ways to assist the Palestinians such as the land crossing to Gaza.
At least five people have died and ten have been injured during one of these launches, health sources from the Shifa hospital and witnesses of what happened have reported. The announcement comes after US President Joe Biden said he is preparing to build a port off the coast of Gaza. Meanwhile, no further progress has been reported in the negotiations between the parties to reach a ceasefire.
