Georg Roth, former second mayor, long-time municipal councillor and fire brigade commander, was honoured with the Golden Citizen's Medal. Roth was born in Hebertshauser and ran the nursery for decades, which has since been handed over to his son.
Roth held the office of commander for 28 years with probably 1000 missions. He was involved in local politics, sat for 30 years for the CSU in the municipal council, and was second mayor from 1990 to 2002. "The community owes you a great debt of gratitude," said Mayor Richard Reischl.
