The extent of the expenses of the Prime Minister's official and private residence will be charged with the approval of an independent party. The Deputy Legal Adviser to the Government, Dr.
Gil Lemon, sent a letter to the Director General of the PM's Office in which he restored control over the scope and type of expenses. "Expenses must be made with economy and efficiency," he wrote in the letter. The PM's wife will be entitled to funding her expenses only if she accompanied the PM to an official position.
