Former first deputy mayor of Lorient will be tried for rape. Gaël Le Fur is being prosecuted in particular for acts of rape against a 13-year-old student.
He “formally contests” that the facts can be qualified as rape in this case, assured his lawyer, Me Thierry Fillion. For two or three other complainants, he admits “inappropriate behavior but not sexual assault”, according to his lawyer. He faces a sentence of 20 years in prison.
