Joan Ribó plans to leave his position as a councilor in the City Council next month. Ribó promised during the electoral campaign to finish his term until 2027 whether he remained mayor or if he remained in the opposition.
The current mayor of Compromís considers that the time has come to take a step back and let the new management, headed by Papi Robles, work with the aim of recovering the mayor's office of Valencia within four years. Once Ribó resigns from his position, he will be replaced by Luisa Notario.
