Vieuvicq (Eure-et-Loir) is the first community in the department to undertake the construction of a shade house equipped with photovoltaic panels. The project cost €193,000, of which €150,000 was provided by Val de Loire – Solaire.
“It’s a multi-service building for our small town. Now the school kids play sports underneath. This summer, we should organize outdoor cinema screenings, there will also be a market,” assures Philippe Morelle.
