The Government discovers immigrant children up to 14 years old working in a Tennessee factory. The Tuff Torq plant, which makes parts for lawn mowers, has agreed to forgo profits it made through the illegal employment of minors and “use them for their benefit,” according to the Department of Labor.

The company was fined almost $300,000 for hiring 10 minors. It was also forced to allocate $1.5 million to help children who were illegally employed, according to an agreement with the federal government.
