The Government expelled eight of the Chilean Colo Colo fans who led riots in Mendoza. In an abbreviated trial, they received a three-year prison sentence.

In addition, they were banned from entering Argentina. They had attacked local supporters before a match with Godoy Cruz. The eight Chilean fans were taken to the border by the National Gendarmerie in order to carry out their expulsion from the national territory. The departure from the country took place this Tuesday. All of them received a 3-year suspended prison sentence for aggravated robbery for being committed in a town.
