The Government of Javier Milei confirmed this Monday that it will release the payment system in public transport. The ticket can be paid with a credit card or cell phone.
The announcement did not specify when it will be available or how the new system will be implemented. It was also not reported whether the benefits that SUBE has by granting discounts when different transportation is combined within a period of two hours will continue to be in force. The current SUBE card will not cease to exist, but will coexist with the new payment options.
