Dedi Barnea will meet in Cairo with the head of the CIA, with the Prime Minister of Qatar Mohammed Abdel-Rahman al-Thani and with theHead of the Egyptian intelligence. Head of the Shin Bet and Major General Alon are expected to join the trip.
The meeting comes after Biden clarified to Netanyahu that he must give a broad mandate to the negotiating team in order to achieve a deal for the release of the abductees without delay.
