The High Court of Justice discusses the petition of the family of Alon Shmriz demanding to recognize him as an IDF member. The father of the abductee, who was killed by IDF fire in Gaza, blamed the army for not recognizing Alon as such.
"Put my trust in the supreme judges to do justice to Alon, and give him the recognition he deserves," said the father, who did not agree to cover his son's grave until it was recognized as an Israeli space entitled to it.
