President Javier Milei called the opening of Ordinary Sessions at night. He did not notify the deputies of La Libertad beforehand and decided with his sister and advisor Santiago Caputo.

They say he seeks to break with tradition. “The idea is simply to be different and break the status quo. It is not a matter of schedules or ratings, but of Javier breaking tradition, as he does with everything,” they explain in Milei's entourage. The possibility of Milei speaking from another place other than the platform of the presidency of the Lower House was considered.
