The Gallery of the Royal Collections will open its doors later this month. The 40,000 square meter building is located between the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral.

The public will only be able to see one-fifth of the building. The rest is a colossal gear so that lighting, temperature, safety and even the smallest detail are adequate. A tour of the bowels of the new museum begins in the room of the general low voltage paintings, where Luis Baena, technical architect of the National Heritage team, saw how the building finally began to really come alive.
