The Italian drone market is growing and is worth 145 million euros. In 2024 it is expected the full operation of the Rome vertiport and the construction of the Venice one.
Globally - says the research - there are 97 vertiports projects for the landing and take-off of aircraft, although only one in three is in the prototype, development or test phase (36%) 16 will become operational by 2024 in Italy. All 15 Italian airports that responded to the Observatory's survey are in favor of making their infrastructures and skills available.
