Zugspitz ski area asks visitors to book online in advance and to be there on time using public transport. Around 4,000 guests can visit Germany's highest mountain and its ski area at the same time. The Wankbahn, however, is not yet open (planned start: May 1st), as are all the lifts in the Garmisch Classic area.
