The LBV Fürstenfeldbruck in Kolpingheim Olching looks back on the last year and talks about its plans for the future. One of the pleasant surprises in 2023 was the great tortoiseshell, a butterfly species classified as endangered on the Red List.
The migration of toads, frogs and newts to their spawning waters in the district is already in full swing. A new pond is to be dug for amphibians on an LBV area in the foot mountain moss, as the existing one is growing over with reeds.
