Montblanc's latest watch has the unique distinction of not containing oxygen. This prevents the formation of fogging caused by significant temperature differences at altitude.
The titanium back of this extreme mountaineer is 3D laser engraved with the silhouette of Mont Blanc. This piece is limited to 969 copies, in homage to the year when the legendary mountainer Reinhold Messner, ambassador of the house like his son Simon, made the first solo ascent of the Droites, the north face of the Mont massif. The case material benefits from an innovative process encapsulating CO2 from the production of biogas and mineral waste from recycling plants. The powder thus obtained is then combined with carbon fiber, ultralight and resistant, in order to shape the 43.5 mm diameter case of this watch. The black sfumato effect dial also features a second time zone hand with a white luminescent coating, as well as two globes representing the northern and southern hemispheres.
