Luis Suárez and his wife, Sofía Balbi, bought a mansion in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Uruguayan spent 11.5 million dollars on the 500-square-meter home.

It is in the same neighborhood as Lionel Messi, who shares the Inter Miami team. The Argentine bought his mansion for 10.8 million dollars in September of last year. The neighborhood has just over 100 homes, all with private docks and access to the sea. The striker and Messi share the team again at Inter Miami for one year.
