[HIGHLIGHTS] The man who hit a police car in Eure was taken into custody

The suspect fled on foot after “violently hitting a police car while trying to escape the control” of another police brigade. The police officers who were inside the vehicle were taken to hospital for “contusions” The suspect admitted to being in the vehicle which hit the police officers, but denied having been the driver.

Before these events, the young man was already known to the police, having been convicted twice for traffic offences.. The man “was then placed in detention,” said the magistrate.
