The Ministry of Health issued a warning today (Monday) against the consumption of counterfeit alcohol products such as Belarus vodka, Rabinoff vodka and spirits. This, after the products were sampled as part of sampling and supervision by the food service inspectors and were found to not meet the standard and dramatically endanger the public.

In some of the products, abnormal amounts of methanol were found, while in some, a concentration of a tertiary butanol-type denatured substance was discovered, which is prohibited for use in alcohol products and may cause skin and eye irritation.
