Rental prices are cheapest in the countryside. In rural districts, the price per square meter is now 8.68 euros and has increased by about the same amount as the national average compared to 2021. The cheapest medium-sized cities are Gera in Thuringia with 5.91 euros and Pirmasens in Rhineland-Palatinate with 6.27 euros.
