The U.S. Social Security Administration has released its annual list of the most popular baby names in the country.

The Administration has been tracking newborn names in each state based on Social Security card applications since 1997. For male names, Liam (who in 2005 was in the 104th place) is followed by Noah, Oliver, James and Elijah. For girls, Wrenlee, Neriah, Arlet and Georgina are now more popular. Some names that greatly decreased their popularity are: Jacoby, Turner, Aydin, Juelz, Jamal and Jesiah for boys.
