The municipality of Herrsching am Ammersee wants to expand paid parking. At the most recent meeting, the committee did not agree on which additional areas parking should cost in the future.
12 council members supported introducing parking fees there in an initial vote, and just as many spoke out against it. No machines should be installed in areas far from the center where controls cannot be ensured and cars are therefore permanently parked, council members said. The expansion of parking space management could be implemented next year, it was said.
