Since dawn of remembered time, human beings have felt the irresistible impetus to weave stories. Myths and literature allow people to glimpse deeper realities, symbolic shelters for our precarious existence.

The 20th century created extremely destructive myths, which led to terrifying massacres and genocides. We cannot resist these myths with logical arguments alone, reasons that do not speak the language of deeply rooted fears, desires and resentments. Other powerful stories are needed, in peace. We have a quixotic brain, prone to processing stories and reality in a similar way.
