The NBA Play-In begins this Tuesday with the games of the Western Conference. On Wednesday it will be the turn of the Eastern Conference, with the participation of the Miami Heat, current runner-up in the league.

The winners of seventh place will qualify directly for the NBA Playoffs, which will begin on Saturday, April 20. The last qualifying spot in the East will face the Boston Celtics, clear dominators of the regular stage, in the first round of the playoffs. The NBA Finals will end on June 6, 2024 and will end later than the 23rd of the same month, with a hypothetical seventh game, with no winner or loser of the tie-breaker. The teams that are already qualified for the playoffs, in addition to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets, are the Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic and Indiana Pacers. The games will be played this Tuesday and on the Eastern side, the matchups will be on Wednesday. The winner of the key between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Los Angeles Lakers will not only qualify for the playoff directly, but in the second round, they must face the current champion, Denver Nuggets.
