Heather Pressdee, who was the nurse, has already been accused of administering excessive doses of insulin to patients, 17 of whom died. The family of a man who suffered from severe diabetes and, according to authorities, died last year at the hands of a nurse who was caring for him, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the facility where he lived.
The lawsuit alleges that the center and its operator were negligent, failed to train employees to recognize and report abuse, and failed to remove pressdee as a nurse.
