The Korn und Berg university bookstore is the oldest bookstore in Germany. In 1531, Johann Ott founded the bookstore, which is still located not far from Nuremberg's main market today.

The owners of the Korn & Berg bookstore have changed repeatedly over four centuries. Today there are still numerous printed books for sale in bookstores. Customers can also have the works they are looking for delivered via the online shop. E-books and audio books are also available. Because the Jakob bookstore is one of the most beautiful bookstores in Germany, you can also visit another special bookstore in the city of Nuremburg, the Franconianconian newsletter informs you about all the latest developments in the metropolis. The bookshop is open from 9am to 9pm every day and is located on the main market of the city, near the city hall. The bookstore is owned by the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, which also owns the Tölz bookstore “Winzerer”
