The tapestry will be exhibited in Paris during the 2024 Olympic Games. The work was created over three years by a group of weavers from the city.
The tapestries will be used for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games. They will also be used as part of the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. The works will be displayed at the Olympic Museum in Rio until the end of the year when they will be moved to a new location.
