Temperatures on Saturday and Sunday are heading towards midsummer in Bavaria. High Peter is responsible for the summer weekend and will continue to lie across the Free State until Sunday evening.

On Tuesday the maximum values are 11 degrees in Nuremberg, 12 degrees in Regensburg and 10 degrees in Munich. According to the current DWD forecast, the snowfall line will fall to 800 meters on Wednesday night and to 600 meters on Thursday night. In the mountains it can reach minus six degrees even during the day, temperatures at higher altitudes may well remain well below freezing. This means that you can still expect significant amounts of fresh snow in lower altitudes, such as southern Upper Bavaria or the Bavarian Vorwald. It is always important to know here: concrete snow forecasts are among the most unreliable because only slight temperature fluctuations can make a big difference.
