The Open Arms ship sets sail with 200 tons of food and inaugurates the maritime corridor to Gaza. The mission, shared with the NGO World Central Kitchen (WCK), by the Spanish chef José Andrés, faces the challenge of landing in the enclave.

The cargo contains rice, flour, beans, lentils, cans of tuna and other non-perishable, high-protein foods. It is packed in black bundles that bear the WCK logo and the flag of the United Arab Emirates.
