The opening match of the 2026 World Cup will be played at the Azteca stadium in Mexico City. At least 11 cities in the United States competed along with three Mexican and two Canadian cities to be chosen.
48 teams will participate in the tournament, divided into 16 groups of three teams each. A total of 104 games will be Played. The 2022 Soccer World Cup ended with Argentina as the winner of the tournament. The 2030 World Cup is scheduled to be played in Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
