The overhaul of the RER C by 2035: a technical and political headache worth 5 billion euros. The new master plan for the sprawling 176 km line will be put to a vote this Wednesday by the Île-de-France Mobilités council.
For more than two years, representatives of the communities, the SNCF and the 540,000 users of the line with seven branches have been consulted to imagine different reorganization scenarios. This long-term plan should bear fruit by 2030-2035.
