Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel announces an investigation for corruption against his former Minister of Economy. The Government accuses Gil Fernández, dismissed in February, of committing “serious errors” and said that there will be “zero tolerance” with him.

For the moment, the former minister has not commented on the matter. The official note states that the leadership of the Communist Party and the Government “has never allowed, nor will it ever allow, the proliferation of corruption, simulation and insensitivity"
