The Prosecutor's Office requests 15 years in prison for the former anti-drug chief of the Police in Alicante. The 69 members of the network to which inspector Javier Méndez belonged face a request from the public ministry of 749 years in jail and a fine of 435 million.

The official acquired passenger cars, which were then renovated in a clandestine workshop run by an agent and a sub-inspector, who were paid black. The fleet was later distributed through a commercial scheme linked to another drug lord with a history of 19 arrests for drug trafficking.
