The renovation of the Sternhaus on Rubensstrasse in Ottobrunn will be completed in the next few months. The star house with its 54 apartments dates from the 1960s.
Until recently, some of the residents had bathrooms from the early days and the floors were contaminated with asbestos. All apartments will be rented again on the first of this month. Part of the scaffolding has already been dismantled, the rest will be removed in thenext few weeks. The contracts for the outdoor facilities are currently being awarded and are expected to last until the end of the year.
