The savings to be made in 2025 will be “at least 20 billion euros”, announces Thomas Cazenave. “I must tell you in transparency that (...) we must probably increase our effort from twelve to at least 20billion euros in additional savings,” he declared during a hearing in the Assembly national.
The 20 billion will relate to both the State and Social Security. The minister came with his Economy colleague Bruno Le Maire to present the cancellation of ten billion euros in State credits for 2024.
