The Olympic Village in Paris was inaugurated on February 29. It is made up of 82 apartment blocks with a special characteristic: they do not have air conditioning.

Athletes will be able to move around the grounds on bicycles or in electric vans that will circulate constantly. The Village was built with an investment of 646 million euros from the French government and the largest real estate companies in France. It will be home to 10,000 Olympic and 4,500 Paralympic athletes during the Games.
