The share of French territory without 4G coverage divided by more than five since 2018. This share thus increased from 11% to 1.9% in five years.
The proportion of the territory covered by 4G by the four major mobile operators at the same time increased from 45% to 88% over the same period. Two thirds (67%) of the sites opened during the period are located in rural areas, according to Arcep. The Authority also notes an improvement in the quality of internet and mobile networks.
