The Argentine president is planning a shock remedy, inspired by the program of his late American liberal counterpart. Javier Milei chose Davos, the World Economic Forum that he knows well, to present his policies.
The creator of the Forum, his friend Klaus Schwab, had warm words for him. “You are benefactors, heroes, creators of the most extraordinary period of prosperity we have ever known,” he said to the audience of applauding business leaders. And he ends his remarks with a sentence that we no longer hear anywhere: “The State is not the solution, it is the problem”
