Châteauneuf-sur-Loire classified as an emblematic landscape of the Loire Valley. Decision will make it possible to better protect the remarkable site of this ancient river port.
Site extends over 495 ha and 5 communes, including Germiny-des-Prés, Ouvrouer-les-Champs, Saint-Martin-d'Abbat and Sigloy. The castle and gardens which were built there in the 17th century have today partly disappeared.
